Jade Cline recently joined ‘Teen Mom 2’ and she’s been filming for the latest season of the show.
Jade’s life has been on public display thanks to being a part of the show but these are some of the less known things about the ‘Teen Mom’ star.
#1 Her salary
We all know that MTV pays its stars a certain fee for each season of the show. As a newcomer, Jade is expected to make far less than her senior co-stars.
At the moment, her salary is estimated to be around $20,000 per season of the show.
#2 She studied cosmetology
Jade’s passion for looking all ‘dolled up’ made her pursuit a cosmetology degree. She reaffirmed her student status on social media after being asked whether or not she’s still looking forward to becoming a hairstylist.
#3 She’s friends with Kailyn Lowry
Although Kailyn wasn’t ‘thrilled’ at first sight of Cline joining ‘Teen Mom 2’, the two became close after a while.
Jade, later on, said that Kailyn offered her “full support” and even gave her a piece of advice.
The advice was to “stay out of the drama”.
#4 She had to grow up fast
Jade’s upbringing wasn’t necessarily optimal, as she’s had to do things on her own.
“I’ve always taken care of myself since I was younger,” she said in an episode.
“[Child protective services] took me away from my parents when I was 16 years old. I’ve been taking care of myself since then, so I feel so much older. I feel like I didn’t vibe with a lot of them,” she explained.
#5 Plastic surgery
Just like many of her co-stars, Jade couldn’t resist the charm of getting plastic surgery done.
Hers was aimed at her backside in a procedure known as ‘Brazilian butt lift’.
