Cory’s first introduction to the ‘Teen Mom: OG’ series happened alongside his then-girlfriend, Cheyenne Floyd. After parting ways, Cory moved on with his life and met Taylor, now his fiance.

Although Cory is still filming short segments as a part of his arrangement with Cheyenne and daughter Ryder, the network made a decision not to premiere Cory & Taylor’s new baby special in 2020, when their daughter Mila was born.

MTV cleared the air by issuing a statement at the time: “MTV strongly condemns systemic racism and stands with those raising their voices against injustice,” citing Taylor’s previous social media comments.

As for Taylor herself, she had this to say on social media: “…I wasn’t thinking it was anything negative. I thought ‘Oh, this is funny’ or something like that, but it’s not.”
