‘Teen Mom Young + Pregnant’ Salaries Revealed, See How Much They Make
MTV first introduced ‘Teen Mom: Young and Pregnant in 2018. Building on the strong fundamentals of the ‘Teen Mom’ franchise, ‘Young & Pregnant’ tried to reinvent the whole ’16 & Pregnant’ thing, except the moms were slightly older than that.
It was generally well-received at first, scoring over 500,000 viewers at launch.
The initial roster of girls that starred in season 1 was: Ashley Jones, Jade Cline, Kayla Sessler, Lexi Tatman, Rachel Beaver, Brianna Jaramillo, and Kayla Elliot.
How much did MTV pay the girls to star in the series?
It’s always interesting to find out run rates for television newcomers. It’s a known fact that there is indeed a disparity between junior and senior stars in TV shows as is the case with the ‘Teen Mom’ franchise.
MTV isn’t keen on sharing cast salary information with the public, but if there’s a will there’s usually a way to find out.
If anything, it’s easy to estimate how much the cast could be made by looking at other available salary information out there.
It was once revealed that MTV had paid the girls that starred in ’16 & Pregnant’ only $5,000 for the first season, which could be the case here as well.
Briana Jaramillo
The ‘Young & Pregnant’ star didn’t disclose her salary information publicly, as it would be a breach of contract. Instead, we’re estimating that she made between $5,000 to $10,000 for her first season on the show.
Briana has been featured in two seasons of the show thus far, with the third season yet to come.
It’s possible that she made up to $15,000 for the second season on the show.
Kayla Sessler
Kayla’s first TV appearances were on MTV’s ‘Young & Pregnant.’
It’s definitely clear that she got compensated for it, to the estimated tune of $5,000 to $10,000 for her first season of the show.
Since the contracts are usually based upon one season of the show, it’s also possible that Kayla got paid more for her second season.
Rachel Beaver
Rachel appears to be the only ‘Teen Mom: Young + Pregnant’ star whose salary was confirmed online. It was reported that she made $450.00 per episode in season one of the show.
For the whole season, she made approximately $10,000.
The Sun reports that Beaver made close to $14,000 for her second season on the show.
Kiaya Elliot
Kiaya’s first TV appearance was also with MTV’s ‘Young & Pregnant.’
Although she has no official social media presence, Kiaya is still very popular with the fans.
Much like her co-stars, it’s estimated that she made $10,000 for her first season on the show while maintaining an option to earn more for the future seasons.
