‘Teen Mom’ stars’ mom goes to jail

Jade Cline’s mother Christy Smith pleaded guilty in her 2018 case when she was charged with possession of marijuana among other things.

Reportedly, Christy accepted the charges and will be going to prison for up to 90 days.

She also had to pay over $500 in legal fees attached to the case.

‘Teen Mom’ fans had strong opinions over Christy’s sentence.

“It would only be a 25 dollar fine where I live. People shouldn’t go to jail over weed,” one fan wrote.

“Wait. Jail for weed?” someone wrote.

“Am I reading this wrong..” a fan chimed in.
