Speaking of her monetary gain attained through the show, Maci has stated that she isn’t ‘rich’ per se and that people overrate things when it comes to making money through TV work.

“I still have the normal struggles, like I have to budget and pay my bills,” she said of the public perception of her.

Adding that, “I still go to Wal-Mart. I’m still a normal person that lives in Chattanooga, Tennessee.”

It’s been reported that Maci makes an estimated $500,000 per season of the show. With more than 20 episodes in a single season, Maci makes more than $25,000 per episode of the show.

If you’ve been watching the show, you can not notice Maci’s husband, Taylor, making appearances side-by-side with his wife.

Those appearances aren’t for free either, Taylor is likely getting compensated all the way up to his wife’s salary, in the ballpark of $500,000 per season.
