The ‘Teen Mom’ dads play a major role in the series and besides the moms, they are the main storytellers. Some of the ‘Teen Mom’ dads are more active than others, and that’s likely what dictates their salaries on the show.
‘OG’ dads of the show are compensated far more than the newcomers. For instance, Cole DeBoer, Taylor McKinney & Tyler Baltierra were paid much more than Cory Wharton of ‘Teen Mom: OG’.
That’s not to say that his salary won’t increase later on as well, it’s just the nature of the game.
