Maci and Ryan go all the way back, their relationship was first seen on television during MTV’s ’16 & Pregnant’ where they both attempted to keep their relationship alive.
That ultimately didn’t work out and now they have separate families of their own.
Maci’s custody of Bentley
Maci has de-facto custody of Bentley as the ex-couple doesn’t have an agreement mandated by the court. This essentially means that Bentley is in Maci’s care almost all of the time.
Maci previously attempted to mitigate any potential visitation issues by giving Ryan an ultimatum: get better or you don’t get to spend time with Bentley.
That did work to a certain extent, with Ryan signing up for therapy sessions and whatnot.
Ryan’s alleged plan to gain custody of Bentley
Ryan Edwards and his family are certainly not happy with the de-facto arrangement of Bentley’s care.
The other end of the Edwards family would like for Bentley to spend more time with his father, including Ryan himself.
That’s why he’s made some “moves” in order to pursue full custody of his son.
Speaking to The Sun, Ryan revealed that he has potential evidence stashed away that would make the court go his way when it comes to making a decision of full-time custody of Bentley.
It’s unclear if Ryan would actually go this route, but it seems like he definitely isn’t happy with the way things are now.
As for Maci, she didn’t really comment on the ongoing situation.
