Mark Zuckerberg Describes What It’s Like Being Meta CEO
‘The Social Network’ star Mark Zuckerberg is having a tough time managing his social media empire company called “Meta”.
Back in the day when Facebook’s motto was “move fast & break things”, the company’s stock was flourishing but now in 2022 – it tanked hard.
It seems like the core ad business is still a money-making machine but the stock market doesn’t have a positive long-term outlook for the company.
Zuckerberg recently dished on what’s it really like to be the CEO of a massive social media company and it isn’t all sunshine & rainbows.
Apparently, being $META Ceo isn’t fun at all – and Mark Zuckerberg seems to be speaking from personal experience.
“It’s almost like every day you wake up and you’re, like, punched in the stomach,” he said in an interview on the Joe Rogan podcast.
“I used to run a lot, but the problem with running is you can think a lot,” he added.
Meta’s stock used to be valued at over $1 trillion but as of November 2022 – it has an estimated market cap of only $300 billion.
