Maci is one of the rare moms to be featured in MTV’s ‘Teen Mom’ for over a decade. She helped make the show popular in the first place and the show made her popular likewise.
But Maci isn’t only famous because of her own brand, she started off in the show as a mom of a well-known kid, Bentley Edwards.
Maci’s ‘Teen Mom’ journey
Maci started her ‘Teen Mom’ journey when she onboarded the show in 2009. At the time, she was being filmed for MTV’s ’16 & Pregnant’, and it was her first TV experience ever.
It turned out pretty good for her even in the start, as she continued filming the show for years to come.
Maci’s only been featured in two MTV shows (16 & Pregnant & Teen Mom: OG) but they made her extremely popular, especially in rural areas of the country.
Planning for Bentley’s future
The ‘Teen Mom: OG’ star has been considering quitting the show for good and there’s a reason behind it.
Maci and her husband Taylor are seeing that Bentley is quickly growing up and that being featured on the show might do more harm than good.
The couple previously explained that the kids only film when they’re okay with it and that it’s not being forced on them.
Therefore, Maci’s primary reason to quit the show would be her son Bentley.
As her eldest child, he might be getting exposed to the general public more than it’s good for him.
