The ‘Teen Mom: OG’ star Cory Wharton isn’t exclusively tied to the show, instead he works on other projects as well.
Cory’s history on ‘Teen Mom’
Cory first appeared on ‘Teen Mom’ out of sheer chance/luck. His then-girlfriend Cheyenne Floyd was pregnant with his child and he didn’t seem to know up until the actual birth.
Together, they were invited to MTV’s ‘Teen Mom: OG’ to fill in for the leaving cast members and it turned out great for everyone.
Although Cheyenne and Cory weren’t exactly ‘Teen Mom’ parents, they certainly were young.

Cory’s involvement with ‘Teen Mom: OG’ is periodical in nature, he only appears in segments he’s chosen for.
Cory is also involved in shooting MTV’s ‘The Challenge’ and he regularly goes away to shoot his thing.
On the flip side, his daughters Ryder and Mila don’t get to see him as much when he’s away for shooting.
That’s what made Cory’s reunion with Ryder so memorable last time around.
Apparently, Cory was away for 2 months and then some…
