Catelynn And Tyler Reveal Emotional Reunion With Carly
Catelynn and Tyler recently opened up about their reunion with Carly and not all went smoothly. (emotionally wise.)
Catelynn and Tyler placed Carly for adoption 12 years ago
More than 10 years ago, the couple decided to put their daughter Carly up for adoption. The decision wasn’t easy but the couple claims it was the ‘right one’ to make.
At the time, they weren’t so sure they could provide for their newborn daughter, and just so it happens – they got selected for MTV’s ’16 & Pregnant’.
Little did they know that they would become major stars and still talk about their decision today.
Emotional reunion
Every once in a while, the ‘Teen Mom: OG’ couple reunites with their firstborn daughter Carly.
The meetup is arranged via Carly’s adoptive parents, Brandon & Theresa.
It appears so that Tyler & Catelynn’s adoption counselor also showed up for the special occasion. (above photo).
No cameras were allowed at the private reunion but the couple did talk about it for the show.
Tyler specifically talked about getting emotional during the encounter, “I’m nervous that Carly’s gonna go back to Brandon and Theresa and say, ‘Well, he was crying so hard’,” he said.
Adding that, “…I can’t control it.”
Catelynn revealed that ‘you could see the tears’ in Carly’s eyes when it was time to say goodbyes.
