Amber Portwood has spoken out, alleging that her daughter Leah is being “groomed” by MTV and Gary Shirley, stating, “You’re not going to sell my daughter.”
During a recent TikTok live session, she expressed her concerns, saying, “Yes, children are groomed, but not only by parents. My child was groomed by an entire franchise. I refuse to allow that, regardless of what Gary does or why he’s fighting me; this is the crux of it.”
Amber continued, “I can’t share too much, as it could get me in trouble, but I will say that certain things are happening because they’re pushing to keep my daughter on TV, which I do not want. That’s all I’ll say…”
While discussing her estrangement from 16-year-old Leah, Amber emphasized that she doesn’t share the same willingness to exploit their situation for money, unlike others. “No, get the hell out of here. You’re not going to sell my daughter, but they will, as they are.” She also highlighted how Gary has allegedly told Leah, “But this is your job, too,” making these comments not only in front of Amber but also in the presence of the ‘Teen Mom’ crew while the cameras were rolling.
