In the midst of it, Chris Rock was making a joke about Will Smith’s wifes’ condition and that didn’t sit well with the ‘Bad Boys’ star.
It didn’t take long for Will Smith to take things personally and react to the host’s comments about his wife, Jada Pinkett Smith.
He stood up, walked up to the host & evidently slapped him.
Will Smith attributes his “move” to the emotional toll of his wife’s condition called “alopecia areata.”
This term stands for a condition that induces hair loss.
