Teen Mom’ Fans Accuse The Show Of Being Too Dark, ‘It doesn’t feel like a normal reality tv show to me’

‘Teen Mom’ series has been for more than 10 years, and it all began with MTV’s ’16 & Pregnant’. The original idea was drafted up and ready to go by June of 2009.

The pilot episode of ‘Teen Mom’ scored over 2.1 million viewers and it was highly popular at the time.

The show is too dark for the fans?!

MTV’s ‘Teen Mom’ has been accused of many things in the past but none of them were aimed at the show being ‘too dark’.

There’s a first time for everything, as a fan took to Reddit and wrote up an extensive post about the show being too eerie.

“This entire series comes off as so dark to me,” the fan wrote.

“It just doesn’t feel like a normal reality tv show to me. Other shows I’ve watched have obviously had their bad and upsetting moments and things we didn’t realize were so bad when we were younger given the timing of when those shows were aired, but at least they had stuff that was also funny and heartwarming,” the fan elaborated on their thesis.
