MTV’s decade-long history of running the ‘Teen Mom’ series has led to all-time high ratings throughout the years, but things are changing in the new era of digital media.

The ‘Teen Mom’ series is still very popular albeit its popularity isn’t what it used to be, on television at least.
Ratings for MTV’s show have dropped and less than 500,000 people tuned in for the recent premiere of ‘Teen Mom 2’.
It seems like ‘Teen Mom: OG’ isn’t doing that great either, with similar viewership figures.
The only beacon of hope is MTV’s ‘Teen Mom: Family Reunion’, which was a major success.
