‘Teen Mom’ Stars Earn 10 Times More Money Than Regular Salary In The US
The ‘Teen Mom’ stars are very well compensated and some might think even overly compensated.
How it all began
MTV introduced the ‘Teen Mom’ franchise with their first show called ’16 & Pregnant’ back in 2009.
Since then, the TV network developed multiple spin-offs that lead on to have numerous seasons.
All of this certainly wouldn’t be possible without the all-star cast.
‘Teen Mom’ stars make a lot of money
MTV’s cast of ‘Teen Mom: OG’ and ‘Teen Mom 2’ are fairly well compensated. Their salaries are often the result of their overall popularity and bonuses depending on how it’s all done together.
The ‘OG’ stars of the show have the highest overall salaries, with most of them making $500,000 per season of ‘Teen Mom: OG’ as well as ‘Teen Mom 2’.
According to “Policy Advice”, the average salary in the US was $51k in 2019.
This means that the stars of MTV’s show earn almost 10 times as much as that. (or even more, if bonuses are accounted for.)
