Why did MTV let go of the couple?
Apparently, Ryan and Mackenzie were given a notice that their ‘air time’ won’t be what it used to be.
This was mostly because Ryan’s ex-wife Maci demanded more ‘air time’ for her segments on the show.
MTV’s decision not to properly showcase the couple’s story ultimately led them to quit it all.

Ryan’s wife Mackenzie recently shared a new photo with him holding his daughter Stella (1).
“…rare that we get 1 on 1 time with each of our kids… but when we do it’s perfect,” Mackenzie captioned the photo on Instagram.
It is indeed rare to see Ryan anywhere on social media, especially for the most recent photos.
The 33-year-old father-of-two runs an Instagram account but he rarely uses it to take photos of himself.
