Ex ‘Teen Mom: OG’ Star Mackenzie Edwards Is Being Forced To Pay Child Support

Although they appeared in several episodes of ‘Teen Mom: OG’ this year, that doesn’t mean that MTV is extending the contract with the Edwards family.

In fact, they were officially done filming earlier this year.

Why did MTV let go of the couple?

The main reason cited for MTV’s supposed ‘firing’ of the couple is screen time.

Reportedly, Maci wasn’t getting enough screen time to showcase the full extent of her life so her agents spoke up to free up screen time.

This in turn reflected negatively on the Edwards couple, but they weren’t fired on spot.

Instead, MTV asked them to be patient and that the filming of their segments is likely to continue into the future.
That wasn’t good enough for the couple, who decided to move on with their lives.
