Turkish President Slammed After Doing This
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has been a central figure in Turkish politics for many years. His leadership has been marked by significant changes in Turkey’s political landscape and foreign policy.
Erdoğan is known for his conservative stance and has been both praised and criticized for his leadership style. Under his presidency, Turkey has experienced significant shifts in its domestic and international policies, which have sparked a wide range of opinions and reactions from both within Turkey and from the international community.
Presidential slap
The Turkish President recently did something that angered a lot of people. Apparently, Erdoğan recently put a ‘slap’ on a child’s face for allegedly not kissing his hand.
In Turkish culture, kissing an elder’s hand is considered a gesture of respect, and it appears that Erdoğan wasn’t having any of that disrespect.
“I didn’t know will smith was president of turkey,” one fan said of the situation.
“No, that’s not accurate. In our culture, shaking hands with the left hand is considered immoral. He asked for his right hand, and it is perfectly normal in our culture to lightly tap or slap a child to correct their mistake,” another fan commented.
“the kid was showing disrespect to his senior/superior, i see this as a don’t do it again and show respect,” someone chimed in.
